Customer Declaration
Last updated: 11 October 2026
When you create an epono account you make a short declaration about the people you arrange help for and about yourself. It is part of our Terms of Service, which explain what it means and what happens if it is not true.
01 · What you declare
When you create an account, you tick a box that says:
"I confirm that the people I arrange help for are my family or close friends, that I have their permission to give epono their details, and that I am not named on any sanctions list."
02 · What it means
This declaration forms part of our Terms of Service. Section 7 of our Terms of Service sets out the confirmations you give about the people you arrange help for and about sanctions, and what happens if one of them is false. Section 6 of our Terms of Service explains that you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you personally.
epono also takes its own steps to comply with sanctions laws, independently of your declaration, as described in our Sanctions & Compliance Statement.
03 · Questions
If you are not sure whether your situation fits, write to support@epono.ca before you sign up, and a person will answer you.
